White supremacy is the perception that white people are superior to other individuals from other races. In South Africa, white supremacy began with the Dutch during their colonial settlement at the Cape. The Dutch came with the ideology that Whites were superior to non-Whites and that they could conduct themselves anyhow the felt in the colonies since they were superior.
