NationalCouncilinternsarevitaltotheorganization’s mission. While we benefit from the time, dedication, and curiosity of interns, they have the opportunity to gain experiences thatwillprovevaluableinbothacademicandfutureprofessional settings.Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • SupportoftheModelArabLeagueProgram –assistancewithrecruitment; eventplanning;arrangingembassymeetingsforMALdelegations;staffing localconferences;trainingstudentsleadersinparliamentaryprocedures; answering phone and e-inquiries about the program; and maintaining files;
  • Supportofthe AnnualArab-U.S.PolicymakersConference–providing NationalCouncilstaffwithlogisticalsupport;assistingwithschedule confirmation; registering participants and facilitating conference proceedings;
  • General Programs –contribute to major ongoing support projects; staffing at off-siteeventssuchasbriefingsandcareerfairs;supportstaffinstudy-visit program planning; and provide general office and administrative assistance as needed.

Through these responsibilities you will acquire important technical and intellectual skillsrequiredintheworkplace;learntheimportanceoftime-management; understand the day-to-day operations of a non-profit NGO; and have an opportunity to network with your peers and other professionals involved in associated fields.
