I concur with Henry Kissinger statement. Indeed, Globalization is synonymous with the dominant role of USA. Globalization was popularized in the USA in the 1980s, and it grew in tandem with the Washington consensus. In the 1970s, the developing countries’ economies have halted a shock in oil prices, and the level of debts grew for these countries. Globalization was a policy choice upon which external finance was contingent (Ezrow, Frantz, & Kendall-Taylor, 2015). Secondly, the primary role of globalization is the transfers of goods and services, factors of production from one country to the other. The United States has a large size of the market which has nearly 300 million consumers. Due to the large market size, US firms dominate the world market as they enjoy economies of scale. The United States of America has supported other countries through imports.
