Lack of female medical personnel in a mental health care facility leads to women not seeking mental help. Many health services for women tend to neglect their needs outside the reproductive age and concentrate on reproductive functions. In many countries, healthcare facilities don’t prioritize giving women privacy, making them lack confidentiality of getting to know the information available for their services compared to men. Many health care practitioners always assume that their gender sensitivity causes women’s mental and psychological problems. Therefore, not putting much effort into their healing process, their emotional capacity leads them not to visit mental services (Malisch et al., 2020). Also, many medical doctors have different meanings for identifying symptoms of male and female patients and prescribe inappropriate medication.
