Answer preview
Our nation continues to have disparities both in the activities that the various groups of people engage in. The level of these engagements is also different such that the number of individuals available to the police for searches will be determined by the daily activities that we engage in. In most of the circumstances the minorities mostly the black Americans are involved in the informal sectors of the economy and will be available for searches in most of the hours. It is unfortunate that other groups mostly the white Americans continue to dominate in the formal sectors of the economy with less time for searches. The disproportionality may also occur as a result of factors such as cultural values of social groupings and dressing which is a basic tool of suspicion from the law enforcement officials.
