Donald Trump as part of his campaign pledges has brought many reforms to health care policy.  When he rose to power, Trump made two promises to the citizens concerning health care: lowering prescription drug cost and repealing Obamacare. Trump has voiced his dislike for the Affordable Care Act that was passed to a law under the Obama reign (Simms, 2017). Although he has not been able to repeal for this act, Trump has considerably weakened the bill.
