End-user applications enable respective users in the organizations to manage and manipulate data. According to Hill and Barnes (2011), these applications are easy to utilize, allowing the users to make necessary modifications that address functionality gaps in areas like enterprise resource planning (ERP). Therefore, organizations can strategically develop solutions to the identified issues to enhance performance and the effective flow of operations. As much as the end-user applications have significant benefits, the same admirable elements can cause organizational challenges.
