Since the onset of globalization, information exchange has played a crucial role in advancing interactions between people of different geographical backgrounds. According to Zeibote, Volkova & Todorov (2019), communication as a feature in globalization has fostered education, trade, relationships, cultural exchange, and conflict resolution. In health, communication has led to an exchange of useful technological ideas that have formed foundations for better health practices and improved patient outcomes. For instance, the widespread use of electronic health records among developed nations trickling down to developing and underdeveloped countries. Secondly, mobility has equally contributed to promoting globalization. The easier movement of people, products, and ideas across the globe has improved many sectors including, health.
