I believe the technique that Buddhists adopt to address anger can be applicable in the western culture in making their anger productive. It is essential to acknowledge that different societies have different means of dealing with anger issues and such techniques make their culture unique. However, certain cultures have formulated better ways of addressing anger management that ensures the same is beneficial for both the person and others. Generally, the people from the western region that include North American and the west part of Europe, are quick to anger compared to people in Asia and South America. In western culture, societies emphasize individualism and how the characteristic of one person is distinct from the other. On the other hand, Asia Countries such as China, South Korea, and Japan put a lot of emphasis on collectivism.
