The United States has a unique and complex healthcare system with multiple participants. There has been an increase in the managed care of organizations (MCOs). Most of the participants in healthcare range from the government, insurers, payers, suppliers, research groups, and health professionals. The Health System in the United States has evolved drastically and significantly, with Medicare and Medicaid being firmly entrenched (Feldstein, 2019). Its structure mainly constitutes insurance, delivery, and financing. Historically, the system transformed from preindustrial, postindustrial, and corporate to healthcare reform.
