In her article titled “Top 5 solutions to the most common social media problems,” Sarah Taylor fails to effectively apply critical thinking to outline her opinions (2019). She correctly pinpoints the problems associated with the extensive use of social media. However, Taylor ignores three crucial elements of critical thinking. She fails to collate all data concerning the adverse effects of social networking platforms (Taylor, 2019). Failure to do this means that she cannot assess her recommendations’ validity by comparing them to those suggested by experts.
