Researchers who opt to conduct their survey using the mixed method research find this research design valuable. The researcher uses multiple approaches for conducting a survey. In this case, the methods allow the researcher to be creative in answering some of the questions that would assist him/her to disseminate an evidence-based hypothesis (Johnson, & Onwuegbuzie, 2004). The mixed method research integrates the quantitative and qualitative research methods in a single study. The mixed research method has been recognized to be a more complex research method since it simply combines the qualitative and the quantitative research methods.
