The adolescence stage can be challenging since the teenagers are often pressured to venture into risky behaviors. Many teenagers face a lot of challenges trying to make healthy and safe decisions due to factors such as peer pressure (Feldman, 2017). The decisions that teenagers have to make may regard drinking alcohol, taking drugs, sexual relationships, and driving among others. Some of these decisions may be quite contrary to the beliefs, values, and practices of their parents. In this crucial stage, the adolescents and the adults as well require ample support.
