This represented the pros impacts that were imparted by the traditional Aztec reign. In addition, the third panel was marked with the departure of Quetzalcoatl which was symbolic in marking the end of the Aztec civilization which came slightly before the arrival of the Spanish Hernandez Cortez. On the west, in the small pane lied the prophecy which was in line with the former Aztec traditions that speculated on the return of the Quetzalcoatl. This was representing a speculative anticipation of the results of Aztecs failure to acknowledge and recognize the threats bestowed to them on the arrival of Cortez. Alongside this panel was the Christ with an ax which represented the coming of Christianity with armor and horses. On the northern wall of the eastern half was the symbol of Cortez and the Cross Miles, et al. (15). This was an ancient image of Hernandez Cortez reminded of Cortez arrival and his great fighting with the burning of his ship and dead bodies captured in the background depicted the scene of relentless conquest. There were the sinister-looking machines. This contained none of the human aspects. It depicted the coming of technology but the fact that it won’t save humans.
