The past year shows that Covid-19 immunization has been an issue among people, particularly the white evangelicals. A study conducted by the Pew Research Center in February 2021 showed that 45% of white evangelicals were against the Covid-19 immunization compared to 30% of the entire population (Barlow, 2021). Based on their Christian values, white evangelicals perceive the covid-19 vaccine as a mark of the beast, meaning a symbol portraying submission to the defined antichrist in the biblical prophecies.
