Advantages and Disadvantages of using traditional predictors versus substantive assessment methods

One advantage of this is that while using interviews, the interviewer gets to see and talk to the potential employee. while using assessment tests, one is not able to interact with the potential employee. Secondly, when an employer decides to check the references, he or she can get a hint of the previous performances of the candidate, but substantive assessments do not provide past performances.
