Answer preview

I agree with the changes and recommendations made as a result of the Belmont Report since they aim to protect human subjects’ rights in research studies. The selection of subjects will safeguard the rights of vulnerable populations involved in studies (US Department of Health and Human Services, 1979). It will prevent discrimination in research based on race, gender, and social class. Also, I agree with these changes since they have significantly influenced the ethical conduct of researchers when using human subjects. Besides, the changes protect the participants due to informed consent. It will ensure that human subjects are not coerced to participate in research.
