When employees feel cared about and appreciated, it makes them love their job more hence high productivity. Also, it is easier to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance. Building logins and accountability helps the manager create audit trails which enables them to have all the data regarding compliance when needed. When doing a workflow analysis, there are specific questions that one needs to ask like, who needs to be served by the workflow. That will enable one to see the important area to work on (Pizzi, 2013). Another question will be whether all employees have enough information to perform their tasks effectively. That is because even after upgrading technology and resources, while the employees are not well trained, there will still be a gap. Also, the manager would need to know what defines a good process, the purpose of the workflow, and how the automation can fit in.
