The Organizational Change Intervention Proposal is your final project. It is a research study in which you plan a change intervention for an organization of your choice. Consider yourself a strategic business partner in constructing and implementing an organizational intervention. Research a company that you have read about either in the newspaper or online that you feel should undergo an organizational transformation (Examples: Apple, Bank of America, Wal-Mart, Comcast, Chevy, Wachovia Bank, Aetna, etc.) Through research, you will gather information and insights that will help

Introduction section (See Appendix C, Introduction). Review Chapter 14 for information on layout and information required in the introduction. This draft should include the research question, research objectives, theory, the research design, and the beginning of the literature review. This is a DRAFT. You will refine, add to, and delete from this beginning document as you move through the course. HOWEVER, grammar, spelling, and sentence structure count.

This week, you will submit the annotation of a qualitative research article on a topic of your interest. Narrative, ethnographic, grounded theory, case study, and phenomenology are examples of types of research designs or approaches used in qualitative research.

Write a fully developed and detailed APA essay addressing each of the following points/questions. There is no required word count; be sure to completely answer all the questions for each question in detail. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Support your ideas with at least one (1) source using citations in your essay. Make sure to cite using the APA writing style for the essay. The cover page and reference page are required. Review the rubric criteria for this assignment.

The practice of quantitative research not only involves statistical calculations and formulas but also involves the understanding of statistical techniques related to real-world applications. You might not become a quantitative researcher nor use statistical methods in your profession but as a consumer, citizen, and scholar-practitioner, it will be important for you to become a critical consumer of research, which will empower you to read, interpret, and evaluate the strength of claims made in scholarly material and daily news.
