Answer preview
In this course, I have been introduced to so many things and gained a lot of insights regarding various aspects of child development. However, there is a lot more than I need to learn to be well positioned as a professional on child development. I would like to know about ways of determining when a child’s development is affected by a mental disorder. Or do I have to wait until disorder symptoms are visible? I believe these factors are critical to know in my profession so that I can be in a better position to offer children support as they develop. I intend to engage in thorough research on written materials about this topic to get more insights. I also would like to research and link with professionals who deal with mental disorders in children so that I can get to learn more on the same.
