Virtual teams are located in different geographical areas and are found all over the world thanks to technology. This helps in nurturing of raw talent from all over and also expanding the team’s activities to different cultures. However, there are some challenges that are associated with the managing of virtual teams. One of them is poor communication which is brought by misunderstanding. People coming from different place means different languages are going to be used whereby the main language that is going to be used by the leader or manager may not be familiar to every team member (Dyer, et al., 2013). Another challenge is that of difference in work ethics. Each country has different culture compared to another.
