I was surprised that God revealed himself physically to Moses. The Lord was pleased with Moses. He put Moses on a rock and passed by him, covering his eyes but so that he could not see his face but letting him see his back. The Lord directed talks to Moses and dwells within his people. In Exodus 40, the Lord instructed Moses to build him a Tabernacle, and He covered the tent of meeting. The cloud was over the Carbuncle during the day, and a fire was in the cloud at night. In this way, the Lord guided the Israelites during the journey.
