The most significant problem faced by Taco Bell is the fluctuating value of Pound currency, which increases and decreases the cost of ingredients hence irregularly affecting its cost of production. This consequently drives the cost of operations high and also becomes hard to budget.

Alternative Solutions

Any company or organization having a challenge of volatile exchange rates can experience more serious impact on the operating profit margins. This happens or is likely to occur to Taco Bell, but there are some different alternatives to curb this problem. One of the alternatives is to come up with a strategy where it sources the ingredient locally. The second alternative is product differentiation. The third alternative solution is to utilize modern methods of online payments.
