On the other hand, my role in demonstrating stewardship is facilitated by working with nurse managers and leaders to transform the work environment. I engage nurse leaders and managers to invest in changing the nurse environment for positive health outcomes. Further, I demonstrate stewardship in the hospital by respecting the contributions made by professional nurses. I promote this by appraising the nursing practices provides by all members of the nursing unit to indicate appreciation for their roles. Also, I have shown stewardship in nursing by utilizing organizational resources to promote safety in the healthcare institution. In addition, as a nurse, I have encouraged nurse managers and leaders to collaborate with the regulatory and accreditation aspects of the profession (Murphy, 2013). It is vital to improve standards and practice and embrace new models of delivering care.
