According to Clement & Simon (2011), one of the most crucial employees in a company is a financial analyst. Among many other functions, a financial analyst is responsible for financial planning and analysis of a company and projecting the company’s financial future (Clement, 2011). A financial analyst is also tasked with forecasting the organization’s future revenues and establishing and following the working of cost structures for the company. Financial analysts work with Chief Financial Officers to set company policies regarding the company’s financial situations, set financial policies, and advise executive-level employees on potential investment directions that the company can take. Working in such a position demands that one have an invaluable set of skills that they will apply to be successful. These are skills that we have learned in this course that will help me in this position.
