Depression is a mood disorder that affects the feelings, thinking and daily interactions of an individual. The disorder has different cause factors such as genetic, biological, environmental and psychological factors. Depression occurs in various types which include Persistent Depressive Disorder, Postpartum Disorder, and Psychotic Depression. Seasonal Affective Disorder and Bipolar Disorder (Segal, Williams, & Teasdale, 2018). These forms of depression are all predisposed by different causative factors.
