Thanks to the knowledge I garnered throughout the duration of this course, I was able to improve data security within the organization I worked for. Even though they already had various physical and logical access controls, I helped the company adopt a multi-factor authentication process at a critical juncture in its operations. By adopting my recommendation, the organization was able to secure sensitive company information and customer data. Using passwords as the primary identity verifier, although good, would not have been sufficient to guarantee the security of the data within the company’s possession.
