  1. Long-term effects of European Reformation

European Reformation led to a division which culminated in the establishment of several denominations within the western Christianity. Martin Luther King gave teachings fostered the mushrooming of new churches within Europe notably Switzerland and Germany. This, therefore, meant that the Roman Catholic lost political power especially in the principalities and city-state which are commonly known as Holy Roman Empire, and in England, where Henry Viii separated the kingdom from the church (Pavolini, & Ranci, 2008).
