Rapunzel, who is 18 years old at the time of the film’s release, is the main character of the Disney animated movie the Tangled, released in 2010. She was born into the royal family of King Frederic and Queen Arianna as the firstborn (Ramayanti & Marlina, 2018). This beautiful princess of the realm of Corona is famed for her lengthy, magical, and golden hair. Rapunzel was kidnapped and imprisoned in a secluded tower by a cruel hag, Mother Gothel, for eighteen years when she was just a child. During her time at the tower, she developed an interest in a phenomenon involving floating lights that would only manifest on her birthdays. Finally, Rapunzel was able to leave her tower with the assistance of the charming robber Flynn Rider to discover more about the floating lights and also pursue her desire to experience the outside world.
