Submission Information: Complete the tasks above and save the document as a Microsoft Word or PDF file. Submit your assignment via the Assignment Submission button. Please use a naming convention for your assignment file that includes your last name and the week number. So, your Final Research Paper assignment should bear a file name that looks like: smithENG122w5.docx or smithENG122w5.pdf.

  • Must include a separate title page with the following:
    • Title of paper
    • Student’s name
    • Course name and number
    • Instructor’s name
    • Date submitted
  • Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.
  • Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought, well-supported claims, and properly cited evidence.
  • Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.
  • Must use and cite at least five scholarly sources from the Ashford University Library.
  • Must document all sources in APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
  • Must include a separate references page that is formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

A leader can acquire these skills through extensive career development equipping oneself with an updated knowledge of relevant principles of operation. The leader can also acquire these skills by working closely with his employees. By getting to understand the actual responsibilities that individual employees undertake one acquire an overall of the actual skills that define the operations in the organization. Another way to maintain relevant skills is by creating a relationship with other leaders operating within related fields. This relationship provides an update of relevant skills such as in the case of manufacturing operations and the basis of innovation. In some organization the leadership development programs which embark on continuous equipment of employees with relevant skills prepare them for leadership roles. This, however, does not require the manager to spend much of his efforts in attaining all technical skills within the organization’s operations.
