In 1892, Galton developed a methodology of authenticating fingerprints for filling. In the year 1893, Hons wrote about criminal investigation though in Austria but later transferred the book into English. Hons was an Austria lawyer. In 1910 Edmond Locard started a police laboratory in Lyons, and later Edmond founded Institute of forensic science at the University of Lyons. This was followed by of the launch of the Principle of Exchange. Karl Landsteiner then came on board and discovered the possibility that blood could be arranged in different groups. Calvin Goddard was a US military man who developed a comparison microscope for comparing crime and testing bullets aimed at determining the usage of a particular weapon or not. Albert Osborn came up with the basic principles of verification of documents. Moreover, this was the root of records as necessary scientific evidence required in any court proceedings. The above and many more have developed in modern settings.
