It works in such a way that posts can be thumbed up and down, and this way, the most popular post makes it to the home page. All registered members create content and post them on the forums for promotion where the members vote (Anderson, 2015). Reddit membership is free, and members enjoy the basic features offered by the website. The website also offers a premium platform for its members, and the platform is referred to as Reddit Gold. Some of the features which have been availed for the paying members include accessibility to members-only communities and ability to remove the sidebar ads.
