Any form of crime undermines the rule of law, and hence, all measures should be taken to reduce the crimes and reduce the harmful effects on individuals and society. The United States criminal justice consists of different bodies, including the juvenile justice system, which was established more than a hundred years ago to prevent small girls and boys from facing the destructive punishments of law and encouraging rehabilitation based on the needs of the juvenile (Lane, 2018).
