Leaders are everywhere and hail from all walks of life. Sometimes they are business or government leaders, or even leaders in your own families. Most people meet someone in their lives whom they admire for their leadership characteristics and skills. Think about some leaders you have known or read about and why they inspired you.

Use the library, your course , and the Internet to research biographies of various leaders and leadership theories. Then, respond to the following:

• Identify 3 leaders and discuss why you admire them.
• Briefly describe 1 of the leaders you admire and why you selected that leader.
• What leadership traits does he or she possess that you think are most important in being an effective leader

The three prominent leaders that I admire are Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and Bill Gates. These three people are significant players in the business and innovation sector. They have been able to run their companies over the years successfully. In times of financial crisis, the companies have survived the same without seeking redress from the government or other companies. Elon Musk is a shrewd businessman with many companies, but the most common and influential businesses are Telsa and SpaceX. The most influential leadership trait that Musk possesses is vision. He can read market trends and identify the market’s future demand, which helps him make critical business decisions. This trait helped him in venturing into information and telecommunication. His vision also saw electric cars’ invention under tesla, which now records one of the highest sales in the world (Strielkowski & Chigisheva, 2018). On the other hand, Bill Gates has the leadership trait of empathy to connect with the market and identify their concerns. He is an active philanthropist who identifies society’s shortcomings and attempts to address the same (Strielkowski & Chigisheva, 2018).
