The company was founded by Henry Ford in 1903 and is currently headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan (Ford, n.d.). Ford mainly sells commercial cars and automobiles under its Ford brand coupled with luxury vehicles under its Lincoln luxury brand. The company also has an ownership stake of varying percentages in Troller, Aston Martin, and Jiangling Motors (Ford, n.d.). Besides its innovative business strategies that have allowed the company to provide customers with high-quality products consistently, Ford has been able to successfully leverage its immense resources to market these products and inform customers of the value the products add to their lives. One of the ways the company does this is by posting pictures and descriptions of the vehicles it is selling on its website. Customers can click on this site to access vital information on Ford’s products. Doing this gives them a chance to evaluate the products and determine whether they are aligned with their needs and preferences.
