These are significant barriers to adequate healthcare required in the treatment of CKD patients. Due to these performance gaps, the authors provide a reasonable solution that the professionals could implement to address these barriers. The suggested improvements include EHR-based CDS tools designed to help the professionals improve CKD care by implementing healthcare delivery protocols. This system also requires the healthcare workers to regularly view the patients’ registry to familiarize themselves with them and determine the kind of treatment they deserve. Worth noting, this article offers a resourceful lesson on the importance of having the right tools for CKD management to reduce the severity of the disease. In this case, constant engagements with the patients and monitoring their vitals is crucial in the management of CKD to improve the doctors’ adherence to clinical guidelines.
