Of all the events in the science festival, there is a particular event that changed my life and the way I look and understand some happenings in the body of an individual. The exhibits that were designed and organized by the Laboratory of Molecular Biology that introduced to our array of things like how antibodies within cells detect viruses and protein crystallography (Alberts, 2017). I had no idea of how proteins function in the body but through the exhibition of LMB scientists, they showed us how to use protein crystals X-ray crystallography, to determine the shape of the protein. For the first time, I could see my own cells under the microscope and also test how they detect an invasion of a virus. Honestly, I felt on top of the world and I never wanted this day to end, since then I am always looking forward to science festivals and I am fascinated more by class work especially when in the lab carrying tests on disease-causing organisms. This has also made me have a positive mind on trying things out and as well as experimenting things out.
