This discussion explores the business operations of Zia Snack Company. In this industry most significant operation areas include production of the various brands, management of production operations, marketing of the productions, incorporating state of the art technology, managing the inventory, research and development, among others. Research and development efforts will be focused on achieving healthier options and meeting customers changing needs. Managing the production process is important since the company intends to sell the products when they are still ”fresh” and safeguard food safety.
