The logical adequacy of a theory is based on testability which is used to measure whether a theory is true or not, its scope, simplicity, and conservatism. This phenomenon helps one understand how well a theory fits existing knowledge (Smith, & Liehr, 2018). Its consistency can be determined if the theory does not provide a formalized statement to claim the consistency of the theory. The logical validity of a theory is measured to determine its validity and chief functions. Evaluating theories is conducted to determine if a theory has fully utilized specific methods, terms, interpretations, and principles.
