Advancements in computer science and information technology in the past have led to the adoption of computerized systems in different areas, including the health system. The use of information technology in nursing is very important as it provides tools that support decision-making and assist nurses in their daily interventions. These systems can help to minimize errors, reduce costs, and improve the delivery of services (Moghaddasi et al., 2017). Nurses play an important role in selecting information systems that will work effectively in the hospital. The expectations and needs of nurses must be considered when designing an information system to make sure the system will make it efficient and effective to work in the hospital.
