Tesla is a company that deals with electric cars and was founded by Elon Musk in 2003. The company has been phenomenally successful over the years, and this can be attributed to its objective of using sustainable energy. Despite the success, however, Tesla, just like many other companies in the world, faces problems. If these problems are not solved and the appropriate changes made, they may hinder any company’s growth and development(Change, n.d.). In my opinion, however, the change that Tesla needs to prioritize the most is to change how it treats its employees. This paper seeks to identify and analyze the change necessary for Tesla, why this change is important, the rationale for choosing this change, and finally outline the challenges that may suffice in implementing this change according to Kotter.
