Provide background information on the industry you chose, and why you think the KPIs you chose are important. Support your list with resources.

These are the single global rating where employees are directly asked to state how satisfied they are at their job, and the summation score where key elements in a job are identified and employees are required to state their feelings about each element. Though not as effective as the rest, employee satisfaction surveys are also carried out by some sectors of the industry. Some of the ways of increasing employee satisfaction include allowing flexibility so that the employees are free to take charge of their own time at the workplace (Raymond, 2013). Allowing innovation from the employees also helps in boosting their morale and thus increasing their productivity because some of the employees usually have brilliant ideas, but they lack a platform where they can be expressed. Giving them freedom of ideas boosts their productivity levels very well.
