Read the case study of Ms. Jung’s class, Level C, Case 1 (Page 7)  in “Norms & Expectations.” Then, complete the assignment found at the bottom of Level C, Case 1. To complete this assignment, you will need to review the Case Study Set Introduction on page 2 and the STAR sheets on the four strategies on pages 12 through 14.

After reading about Charlie in Putting it all together: A case study explain whether you would want Charlie back in your class. Did the school follow the correct disciplinary procedures? Discuss why or why not. Would you have done anything differently, according to IDEA’s procedures? If your answer is “yes,” how will you support Charlie so this doesn’t happen again? If your answer is “no,” where do you think is his most reasonable placement, and why?
