Parent/Family Flyer Assignment – It’s time for another flyer! Something I love about this course is that you have less essay-type assignments and more practical “use this in your classroom tomorrow” assignments. I encourage you to use the Microsoft Word flyer templates. They are free, easy to use, and look professional! Here are just some of the flyers that you can access in Word:
You will name and describe four activities that encourage family involvement, but remember that this is a flyer, so those descriptions will be brief.
Parent and family involvement is crucial in early childhood education. Creating strong partnerships with families will help support young children in their development. It is up to the early childhood educator to facilitate these partnerships and to encourage parent and family involvement. For this assignment, you will create a flyer for parents using the “Flyers” template in Microsoft Word. You must create an engaging and interesting flyer that will entice parents to become involved in the classroom. Identify and describe at least four activities that will encourage parent/family involvement. When choosing your activities, review Chapter 6 to ensure that your ideas are culturally sensitive. You are required to include at least one activity that is discussed in Chapter 6. Provide a title and a short description for each activity. Supply chain management
This week’s readings suggest that technology is at the center of changes taking place in supply chain management. In this discussion you will take a closer look at innovative technologies that companies are implementing to streamline their supply chain operations and examine how these new technologies have affected their business performance.
For your initial post provide an example of a company that has been innovative with the implementation of new technology in their supply chain network. You can select a company on your own (using credible sources) from your textbook or from assigned readings. Your post must include the following:
Name your chosen company and describe their business, then explain how they have implemented change in their supply chain through technological innovation.
Explain how technology has changed the company, improved its supply chain management, and stimulated its competitive advantage.
Provide one example of another new technology that you think might further improve the company’s supply chain operations and increase its global efficiency and competitiveness.
Checks and Balances
discuss how the governmental response to covid-19 illustrates what you have learned. Show not just factual knowledge on the details of government (ex.: the President has the power to order travel from China to stop as Chief of the Executive) but also show the principle of checks and balances between different levels of government (federal, state, and local), between the branches of government, and between the private sector and government. You have your text and Wall Street Journals as your main source, but other legitimate news sources are acceptable (so no RT, Iranian, Xinhua/Chinese Government news outlets, or conspiracy sites). If it is from the WSJ or a widely covered news story, there is no need to cite.
