Answer preview
Their underlying social, economic, and political tribulations made it impossible for Arab Palestinians to mount any viable resistance against such displacement (Said 48). From this moment on, Zionism continued to prosper, an aspect that led to the strengthening of Israel as a Jewish territory and limiting Palestine’s influence within this territory. Even though most Palestinians left Israel, some of them still live within the country. Living in Israel comes at a cost for these Palestinians, who had to become Israeli citizens. Although they are citizens, they are treated far worse than their Jewish counterparts (Said 49). Most of them live as refugees within the state of Israel.
