Clinicians are encountering many older people seeking help with sexual dysfunction. Many older adults have accepted and remained open about the role of sexuality in their late life. Biological changes are one factor that affects sexual functioning in older adults is biological changes. Many older people experience many anatomical changes such as laxity of the scrotal tissue and the perineal muscles weakening, among others (Gaya da Costa, Poppelaars, Van Kooten, Mollnes, & Tedesco, et al., 2018). Such changes reduce orgasm intensity and ejaculation propulsive force, reducing it to 50%. Psychological changes also affect sexual responses in older adults, mostly in Western societies.
