1) Briefly list at least three topics related to personal finance that were discussed during this week’s BBB session.

2) How easy or difficult did you find using the tables in Appendix C to find the answers to problems in last week’s homework? Please elaborate on what you find easy or confusing.

3) Did you also use a financial calculator or some other method to calculate the answers to Future Value and Present Value problems that use Appendix C? If yes, what method(s) did you use, and why?

4) Of the topics discussed during BBB, what more would you like to learn?

Chapter 7 discusses identity theft, a problem that has impacted millions of Americans. For your initial posting in this forum, please answer the following:

1. In addition to inventorying your wall/purse and removing certain items, discuss at least three other steps you can take to reduce your exposure to identity theft, including why you think these steps will be especially effective in protecting your identity.

2. Do you know anyone whose life has been affected by identity theft?

3. If you answered yes to question 2, explain what you and/or that person has learned from the experience. We often learn best from mistakes and hardships, but it usually less painful to learn from the mistakes and hardships of others, so sharing what you have learned could really help others.
