Conflicts happen whenever there is human interaction due to differences in people’s personalities, attitudes, values, expectations, and problems. Interpersonal conflicts occur in almost every area of my life, like in school and at home. Chapter eight of the book provides me with adequate insights into resolving or helping others resolve these conflicts amicably without creating hatred (Johnson, 2014). As a future business person, I believe interpersonal conflicts will arise among employees, customers, or those in leadership. Different situations or circumstances are likely to cause stress and anger that might make me act inappropriately to those around me (Passmore & Sinclair, 2020).
