Please write a brief narrative describing yourself, your career goals, why you selected nursing, why you selected the University of San Diego and the importance of graduate study at this point in your life. You may discuss influences on your intellectual development, educational and cultural opportunities (or lack of them) which have been available to you, and the ways in which these experiences have affected you. I am Bao Nguyen, graduated with a BS degree in biology with concentration in system physiology. My career goal is to become a family nurse practitioner. Caring for people health has and is my passion. I am currently working at an assisted living as a med tech and i’m able to perform several direct patient care and this urges my passion in becoming an NP. Graduate studies is very important in which it enable me to reach my dream and do the job i love. Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) and are prepared as Advanced Nurse Generalists at USD. I also have a down syndrome family member, uncle, and taking care of him everyday make me realizing how much it mean to help people getting better in their health and everyday life.
