Answer preview

Subjective well-being defines the overall well-being and happiness of an individual. Therefore, it is measured based on analyzing one’s satisfaction in life. The questions asked are directed towards a client’s feelings about themselves. For example, domains such as spirituality, personal relationships, safety, and community connectedness are included in the test to determine the level of satisfaction in one’s life (International Wellbeing Group, 2013). After undertaking the Personal Wellbeing Index-Adult (PWI-A) test, I found the whole experiencing interesting; however, the accuracy of the results is questionable. Therefore, I would not utilize this measure in practice due to its weaknesses, such as situational factors placed in the questions that may affect the respondent’s mood.
